A beautiful farewell of Christmas at Turku Cathedral Square
"St. Knut's Day puts an end to Christmas." The Christmas season will be closed at the same place where it was opened, i.e., in front of Turku Cathedral on Wednesday 13 January 2010 at 6 pm.
A festivity would not feel like a festivity without everyday life. The lights of the Cathedral Christmas tree will be put out and Christmas season will be closed on St. Knut's Day. Now it's time to prepare oneself for the joys of spring and the merry anticipation of summer.
